I received an email from a treasured friend for Memorial Day, and in the subject line it said, "At 3:00 pm stop and meditate a moment."
Inside was this message:
"Let's honor those who sacrificed for our freedom. A great Nation should be able to forgive... but shall never, ever, forget.Have a glorious Memorial Day."
I had not been on the computer for a couple days and then, when I finally opened my mail, I needed to reply!...
Well. well. well...I just now opened this...at 6:00.
But I thought I would tell you that about 3:30 I looked out the back to see the beach and noticed a butterfly on the back walkway, desperately trying to not be blown away...very windy today.
I put out my finger and he crawled on and moved the wings up and down for a while...slowly, not trying to fly or anything...and then held them up together.

I took him to the balcony so he could rest there out of the wind..and he would not leave my finger.
So, I sat there for a while , asking what he needed to tell me...I felt the peace and stayed there for a few minutes..Then I found a place to transfer him to and he let go reluctantly...
Still there now...I guess he will not fly again...I try not to be sad for that...
I asked for a reply...and was told this...
"He flew straight into your soul... enjoy it. The rest, is history."
I thank God for dear friends!
