L I B E R A T I O N

is uh liberating!

I just un-friended a few "friends" on facebook

Got tired of the incessant negativity

Never a nice comment about me or "liked" what I liked

Only waited to pounce when I said something they did not like

Who the fuck made them the facebook police?????

LOL LOL LOL LMAO ROFLMAO

Blood Red Moon

I watched the full moon rise out of the Atlantic last night.

It was blood red.

Is this a portend of what is to come?

A red or orange moon is common in the autumn.

A red or orange moon is not normal in the winter.

I do not believe the Sahara Sands are blowing now.

Egypt is cleaning itself.

Egypt is readying itself.

Are you ready for what Egypt will bring?

Adios a 2010

Good bye and good riddance! To 2010

It was full of many lessons that I hope I have learned

We have said some farewells and some welcomes too

That is all I have for this year...sadly that is all

We lost Nick on August 6, 2010...he had just celebrated his 80th year on this earth!

He was so full of life but I did notice he was a little frail...although he continued to keep up with or outdo most of us!

Every day was an adventure to be had and I was lucky enough to have shared a few of them with him and Rau these past few months.

The Everglades "funtrip" was the first and the best...Ali was the highlight when he sang "Sunshine" after she swam to our picnic-site as he said she would!
And the rest of the exploration, exotic animals, and perfect mango shakes!!! How did we manage to fit all that into one day?

Fairchild was next and a lovely time... as well as the last time we saw him...He did though, urge the visit to the Travelling Buddah , even though we missed seeing him that day...

His Brilliant Spirit will live in all of us who were privileged to have known him for even a moment.

We will miss you Nick...Love you.....Soar with the Angels!

Memorial Day

I received an email from a treasured friend for Memorial Day, and in the subject line it said, "At 3:00 pm stop and meditate a moment."

Inside was this message:

"Let's honor those who sacrificed for our freedom. A great Nation should be able to forgive... but shall never, ever, forget.Have a glorious Memorial Day."

I had not been on the computer for a couple days and then, when I finally opened my mail, I needed to reply!...

Well. well. well...I just now opened this...at 6:00.
But I thought I would tell you that about 3:30 I looked out the back to see the beach and noticed a butterfly on the back walkway, desperately trying to not be blown away...very windy today.
I put out my finger and he crawled on and moved the wings up and down for a while...slowly, not trying to fly or anything...and then held them up together.
I took him to the balcony so he could rest there out of the wind..and he would not leave my finger.
So, I sat there for a while , asking what he needed to tell me...I felt the peace and stayed there for a few minutes..Then I found a place to transfer him to and he let go reluctantly...
Still there now...I guess he will not fly again...I try not to be sad for that...

I asked for a reply...and was told this...

"He flew straight into your soul... enjoy it. The rest, is history."

I thank God for dear friends!

Another day in Paradise

It is a lazy Sunday afternoon,
And I have nothing of import over which to opine...
I think it is time to take a walk on the beach...
the weather could not be more perfect

These are moments when you think
How could I ever have a complaint
about anything...
The earth is glorious in it's beauty
Loved ones are near

Life is indeed Grand

Brown is not a neutral color

The savior has appeared!
Thank the gods!
They will continue to play the same game
And it will destroy them!
Thank the gods!
We the people have spoken!
Thank the gods!
Glory to the people who remember from whence they came!
Thank the gods!
The gods are smiling down on me as I smile up at them!
Blessed Be...
